The Fanuc Alarm is a standard Program/Storage (P/S) alarm found across nearly all modern and legacy Fanuc CNC control series.

Description

This alarm appears if no numerical value is given after writing an address character (such as G, M, X, Y, Z or F), for example, if you write only G'X` in a block and do not give any number, then the system becomes confused.

How to Fix Alarm

Check the specific block (Line) of the program where the cursor is stopped. After carefully examining all the letters (Addresses) in that line, enter the correct number. Press the ‘Reset’ button, which will make the alarm disappear.
